Helping brokers transform their business
Licensed agents subscribe to Quotit technology to power their online proposal and enrollment activities. Quotit represents more than 40,000 on- and off-exchange individual health and Medicare insurance plans offered by more than 300 insurance carriers. Last year Quotit technology generated more than 60 million individual and family plan quotes through more than 52,000 licensed subscribing brokers and other users.
The Quotit technology platform is designed to allow independent brokers access to compliant technology on a subscription basis that would otherwise be available only to larger, national brokers. This development provides consumers the choice of continuing to use community-based brokers without sacrificing the user experience otherwise available through national online mega-agencies.
Strong enough to power a private exchange
From time-saving data aggregation to online enrollment and accurate and efficient data dissemination of health plan data, Quotit helps a wide range of businesses quote and enroll in health insurance plans online.
Supporting independent, community-based brokers
In concert with the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and other leading broker organizations, Quotit was instrumental in helping The Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) include the broker subscription technology in the Web-Based Entity (WBE) regulations for both State-Based Marketplaces and for Federally Facilitated Marketplace (45 CFR 155.220).
In addition to its certified WBE status on healthcare.gov, Quotit is in discussions with a number of State-Based Marketplaces to introduce a WBE channel for Special Enrollment Periods during 2015 and/or the Annual Open Enrollment Period in 2016. Quotit works to achieve the highest security standards and has implemented comprehensive technical, physical, and administrative controls to protect data and ensure reliable service levels.
