Quotit announces Premera Blue Cross of Washington's individual plans are now quoting. "We are pleased to announce another health plan offering in Washington", says Lisa Rehburg, Vice President of National Sales. "The addition of Premera Blue Cross allows us to continue our expansion into the Pacific Northwest, and gives our broker customers in this region greater ease of quoting and more plan options".
Premera Blue Cross offers four individual and family medical plans to Washington residents. All plans offer high-quality benefits and utilize the Premera Heritage provider network. Individuals and families can choose between options with different deductibles to receive coverage that suits their needs. Quotit is presenting the Heritage Protector Plus 20, Heritage Value Plus 30, Heritage Preferred Plus 30, and Heritage Preferred Plus 20 plans.Heritage Protector Plus 20™ offers two deductible choices of $500 or $1,000 and provides catastrophic coverage in the event of major illness or accident. Preventive care is covered up to one visit per person, per calendar year.
Heritage Value Plus 30™ features a lower-cost option providing coverage primarily for illness or injuries with deductible options of $2,500, $5,000 or $10,000. Preventive care is not covered under this plan.
Heritage Preferred Plus 30™ provides coverage for routine services including preventive care and major medical. The deductible is $1,000 per calendar year with 30% coinsurance when network providers are used.
Heritage Preferred Plus 20™ provides coverage for routine services including preventive care and major medical, and offers 20% coinsurance when network providers are used. Like the Heritage Preferred Plus 30, the deductible is $1,000 per calendar year.
